Robert Shook began his career in advanced process engineering, mastering techniques in composite materials, superplastic forming and precision tooling. His early work on high-profile aerospace programs like the B-2, F-14 and Boeing 747 set the foundation for a career focused on complex problem-solving and continuous improvement.

At Lockheed Martin, he co-designed a PAC-3 missile assembly facility that reduced cycle time by 83 percent and improved lead times through supplier Kaizens and SPC implementation. His later work at Airstream and Thor Industries marked a dramatic shift in quality and financial performance, achieving a 65 percent reduction in warranty costs and turning negative earnings before, interest and taxes, into double-digit margins.

Shook also held senior leadership roles at Collins Aerospace, where he turned around underperforming divisions, introduced realtime cost analytics and built continuous improvement frameworks that remain in place today.
