With a student-to-instructor ratio of 8:1, Weldtech ensures that every student gets the attention they deserve. Class sizes are small, and all the instructors are seasoned professionals with certifications from the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), American Welding Society (AWS), with senior instructors who are distinguished as Journeymen Red Seal Welders.

Instructors work closely with each trainee. In fact, the hands-on training is so effective that 80 percent of Weldtech’s curriculum is dedicated to workshops, where students can hone their skills on real-world equipment and materials.

“Just a few years back, I was training at Weldtech, and a few short years later, after lots of hard work, I owned Van Dam Industries. We specialize in mobile welding, fabrication and millwrighting across Ontario. Weldtech has been a huge part of that,” says Patrick.
